HIGH SCHOOL diploma requirements

who should pursue a HIGH SCHOOL diploma?

Students who typically choose to work on credits for a high school diploma are students with less than 50 credits to complete. Students with more than 50 credits will often choose the Test Prep - HiSET/GED pathway.

Petaluma Adult School (PAS) awards a diploma to students who complete all of the necessary graduation requirements. Credits from prior high schools, adult schools, and community college coursework can be used to satisfy some of the credits needed for a PAS High School Diploma.

Please note, students must be 18 years or older and not currently attending high school.

A $75 book deposit will be required before granted a spot in the Independent Study program. Space is limited. If you are interested, please speak with the counselor during Orientation.

Odysseyware is an online, distance learning program. The program allows Adult Learners to take control of their learning, moving through the subject content at their own pace. Due to the nature of the coursework, students must be able to handle advanced reading material. A CASAS Reading Assessment is taken as a part of orientation process, and Reading Assessment scores will be used to determine reading level.
